what kind of internet cake boss badass would i be if i didn’t make a nyan cat cake? made this cake for myself, hence the black sprinkles. will do more variations of these in the future, fun and simple. i didn’t have as much time to smooth the icing as i usually do when i made this one, so next time it will be more technically savvy/less sloppy. still CUTE.

this little guy is an all-icing sculpture of a kitten taking a little swim in a coffee cup. this was certainly a challenge, and while not as technically fine as i like my work, it still turned out cute.

when i was a kid, i used to see those cupcake critters at the grocery store and think to myself, “that is supposed to be a cat, but that is like no cat i have ever seen.” so, my goal when i made this cupcake kitty was not only to make a recognizable cat, but an adorable, fluffy, pink one. can’t wait to make more of these in a variety of colors! this one i did turned out freakin’ cute.
